f150 ecu - 2004 versus 2005

I acquired a 2005 f150 tlrd a couple years back and have been experiencing the hard starts after warm related to vapor lock. I read where Yamaha wasn't supplying the repair kit anymore, and I found one on ebay that I bought for $400 (list was about $800). I acquired the bulletin with instructions and found out that the kit I have is for a 2004 and the only part that is different is the ecu. Anyone know what changed in the ecu from 2004 to 2005 and if the 04 would work in the 05??
