F115 ticking after its shut off

I have a 2004 F115. The engine has run flawlessl for many years. Recently I've been hearing a clicking noise for about 10 seconds right after I shut down the motor. I have also noticed that the voltmeter is reading below 12 v when the motor is running. I dont know if these are due to the same "issue" or if the volt meter is bad. Any info is greatly appreciated?

Does this ticking have a frequency or is it random?

Its definitely clicking at a frequency. And Im pretty sure it clicks the same amount every time, but unfortunately Im not sure how many times. But a good estimate is rapidly about 7 times in 10-12 seconds then it stops. It sounds like a relay. Im going to sand and reattach my battery connection this weekend and see if that helps both issues.

Well, after you run the engine and shut it down, turn the battery off immediately and see if the clicking stops. If it does, then you know it is an electrical part. Chances are it is just the IAC motor returning to its park position.
