Has anyone used a TechMate Pro on a Mercury 25 or 30 HP EFI ? Or a Nissan or Tohatsu 25/30 (same ECU)?
I think my ECU is dead (other post titled "Please HELP me get my EFI running". It looks like the TechMate pro will only work on a running engine with this ECU. Bummer. I bought it to specifically test this engine.
After connecting it, and the power leads, the unit turns on and after I select my engine, it asks me if it is running. If I say yes (it is not running) it gives me the ECU number, says 0 running hours, and goes to the screen that shows throttle position, etc.
It does not show any fault codes either.
