exhustmanifols and risers

As long as you stay away from the stuff that is cast overseas and then imported, you should be ok.

so basically....you are suggesting that it doesn't matter which manufacturer i use and that who ever gives me the best price is the one i go with....do you have any reservations on mixing osco with barr with serria etc etc......if you had to pick one mgf who would it be......appriciate it.....northero

I used Osco myself about 3 years ago and would use them again. As Mark suggests, there are some Chinese manufacturers that are really bad, stay away from those. I believe Osco and Barr are comparable.

I agree that the Barr or Osco can be used, as long as the sea water cofiguration remains the same.
However, I'd double check to see if the Barr and Osco components are interchangeable if you are wanting to mix/match.

I did my risers and manifolds 2 1/2 yrs ago. I used Osco. I had to paint them Crusader blue and I removed the primer off the mating surfaces. No problems yet.

I used Crusader risers and elbows that come pre-painted Crusader blue. No painting needed. I believe Osco stuff comes primed but needs to be painted. What about Barr?

I have used Osco in the past with no problem but this year one of the exhaust manifolds I bought was defective. Unfortunately, I didn't know until after I installed it, and had to take it out again.
