I've just purchased a Fjord Wing 18 with a AQ130/270. Except that it has startet to overheat (common problem it seems) it runs very fine. It has run in fresh water all its life until now so I expect that the manifold will need replacement soon :eek:(

Anyway I wanted to ask you about another problem:

On plane the boat tends to draw to the left quite heavily. I use a 15x17 RH. Has it something to do with the alignment of the exhaust "thing" just after the prop. Can I do adjustments and where can I read about this?

Loosen and turn the exhaust ou

Loosen and turn the exhaust outlet the same way the wheel pulls.
Pulling port -turn port.

I have the same boat with a 14

I have the same boat with a 145a motor. Would be interested to share some performance figures with you. I will be looking for a new prop just as soon as I have changed the timimg belt and cleaned out the coolers. I have 25knts at 4000rpm but I expect more just as soon as I done the preventative maintenance.
