Exhaust housing

The book that I bought online doesn't show me how to take off the exhaust housing bushing.its the bushing above the lower unit its a 65ESL73R

Unclear. Are you doing something with the motor mounts, or what?

038497 lower mount . every bolt is broke im needing info on how .cant find on seloc.

So you are not really looking for a " bushing " in this case.----Glad you fiound a part # so folks can understand what you are doing !!

So you are trying to remove the lower rubber mount 0384897, right? The U-shaped lower mount bracket is in the way, right? Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think you can do that without removing the whole exhaust housing. By that, I mean the powerhead has to come off and the upper mount unbolted.
