my question is i have a 1987 b

my question is i have a 1987 barretta the sea water pump is new when running in dry dock there is no water out the exhaust this boat sat a while previous owner can the manifolds clog? any help would be appreciated ps i do have water going to it

"If water is going in, it must also come out. What are you using to provide water to the engine via the outdrive? If it is just a garden hose with an adaptor for the intake grids, the flow is very limited, and you will loose part of the water through the drain hole (see picture). You may want to consider using a large pail filled with water under the outdrive, then keep filling the pail with the garden hose while running the engine. Alternatively, if you keep using the garden hose and the adaptor, you should plug the drain hole.

i have the motor in a big pail and nothing comes out i am going to pull the manifold tonight i will post again
