I have a 60 hp Evinrude outboard model E60tlene but do not know what year it was made. It has power tilt n trim but motor is stuck in down position. Can anyone tell me what year it was made and how to get it unlocked fr o m down position. I have checked for a screw adjustment on side of motor but none to be found. Help!!!!

1992 did you try swapping the tilt relays and see if it follows the relay? Does the pump motor run in both directions?

I have no idea where the relays would be located as i am new to boat ownership. The motor does run in both directions.

I am assuming you mean the outboard motor running in forwzrd and reverse

No does the tilt trim motor run in up and down positions?

In the motor is the relay block just swap the relays and see if it goes up and down. Check the inline fuse also.
