First disconnect the power trim cable to find out if its the power trim itself or the relay assy. Use a jumper cable directly from a battery on the power trim. If you switch + and - ,the power trim will reverse.
If it works, the fault is probably in the relay assy. There are 2 relays, and both have to be ok. Replace them if you are in doubt.
If the PT doesn't work with jumper cables (no sound), the problem is here.
I had a power trim, where the springs for the brushes (in the electric motor) had corroded and almost disappeared. I replaced them (just simple coil springs, doesn't seem to be sold as a spare part), and did a careful seal job on the electric motor. Also be sure to clean the brush area from graphite dust, as it is conductive.
