"hey guys new here and i've already learned a lot. thanks. got this motor from my farther in-law and have no idea what year, what hp rating, worth fixing? the ID plate is gone so i'm not sure if i'll even be able to register it. any help would be awesome.

my coleman crawdad is only rated for 5hp, is this close enough?

I believe it to be an early 60s Evinrude Fisherman. Possibly 5hp. Plenty of parts are still avialeble.
