Evinrude fisherman 6 hp

I have a evinrude fisherman 6hp the id plate is missing so not sure the year. I think around 70s. I need a coil. The coil i pulled out has 510961 printed on it. Any ideas?

If the coil is found under the flywheel it is for the " universal magneto " most outboard shops would have a coil in stock for that motor. --Standard item on many motors from early 1950's to the late 1980's.

Look for the welch plug on top of the motor,the model # will be on it ,that will tell you the year.If it's between 1950 and 1976 it's Napa part #18-5181.If later#18-5176.
