Good morning/afternoon/evening,
I thought it was worth posting on this forum to see if anyone can lend me some advise on my Evinrude ETEC 40hp which is causing me some grief recently!
When I turn on the ignition the outboard is idling fine but when I then use the throttle warm up lever or just the throttle it seems to cut out . . .
It's worth noting it doesn't happen everytime, perhaps every 2/3 go's or so.
I have recently replaced the fuel and water separator but its still seems to cut out.
Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you
