motor will run for 30 mins or so and will just up and quit no warning or anything just quit,will let it sit for ten mins and it will run again for a few mins. and quit again,have replaced fuel tank,line.,water pump,carb kit,fuel pump kit,was told by someone my stator or ignition mod.was acting up the stator had a small reading to ground and was told it shouldn't,any ideas to help fix before I waste more money thanks
 
Are you SURE it is overheating, or is this just a guess? Is the motor paint discolored? When running, can you place your hand on the block for several seconds without scorching your flesh? Are you getting good water stream out of the 'pee hole"?

yes I should reprhase that I think something electrical is heatin up and causin it to quit not the motor itself

Yes water flow is fine engine it it's self is not heating up I think an electrical component is overheating or something else is causing it to quit after about 30 minutes of running if I run it in the tank on Idol it will run forever
 
You're going to have to do a spark gap test immediately after it dies again. Use a real spark tester. They cost about $8 buck at an auto parts store. This will tell us if your issue is fire or fuel. You need to have a spark jump of at least 1/2".
