Evinrude 50HP 2000 year

I have a 2000 Bennington pontoon with a 50 HP Evinrude outboard on it. I have owned the pontoon and outboard since new. Starting last year, the tilt will raise but not lower when I use the switch on throttle lever at the console. I can raise and lower the outboard using the switch on the engine. Any tips on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated. This is my first post so I hope I did it right.

The key color of the wire you want to debug is green with a white stripe. If you examine the wiring at the side cowling, you will see the red/white, blue/white and green/white. Green is down, blue is up. Same circuit as coming from helm, just different harness.....

You will have to debug why the helm switch circuit is not working.

You probably need a new switch on the throttle lever.
