was out on the water the engine cut like running out of fuel twice ..then lost forward and reverse motion...managed to chugg back at just over a knot but if gave too much throttle would just rev its nuts off and not go anywhere...please help...some one mentioned bush on prop ..any info be grateful

model no esornli ser no 02567415..have taken prop off and there is a plastic washer just under nut with a spline that is seperate to the bush is it ..think it parted company..as regards fueling ..she ran for 2 hrs no problem chugging at 2 knots then just gave up all drive forward or back
 
ah just realised the seperate bit is the thrush washer but if put boat in gear can turn prop eay and the splined shaft stays still
 
Have the prop rehubed... or replace it. The vaulcanized rubber between the bronze hub and the prop has failed.

The nylon splined washer is simply a spacer. The thrust washer is in back of the prop.
