Evinrude 40HP started shaking at above 2600RPM's

My Evinrude 40HP has started to shake at above 2600 RPM. It ran fine for about an hour this weekend and then started to act up.
I've checked the prop (it shakes in neutral), changed plugs (one is a bit wet), changed gas, and checked the fuel filter.
It sounds like it's running on one cylinder. Any suggestions on what to check or replace would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much!

The first/right thing to do is to run a compression check on all the cylinders.Since a plug was wet.Mean's there's a problem somewhere. You say the spark plug is wet.Wet as what oil or gas?Have you tested for spark plug for spark with the plug out?If so?Does it have spark? What color spark is it White or blue?White is poor, blue is good/hot.Could be a simple bad plug wire.Or your using junk brand spark plugs.Alway's start with the simple things first.Change the oil.Changed the spark plugs again.Check for spark with the plug out.Check the cylinder for compression.Use a light to look into the spark plug hole at the top of the piston inspect for damage.
Could have dirt, sand anything in the carb's niddle valve.Carb may need removed & float bowl cleaned out.Could also,be the fuel tank safty valve bad .Cracked fue line causing air or carb or head gasget leaking.
All in all could very well be numbers of things.
I just simply change the oil.Make sure you got clean/good fuel. And run it.May straighen out.I bet it's your carb.
Best,

Motor trouble shooting always needs to start with a compression test.----There are lots of " new looking " motors that are mess internally.

After running the motor, shut it down and feel which cylinder head is the coldest...That will tell you which cylinder is not contributing. A compression test will verify internal motor condition. The best case scenario would be an ignition problem. For a more accurate diagnosis, more info is needed as to year and model.

I think we go 'er fixed-I changed the Power Pack and it runs now. Thanks for all the suggestions-appreciate it.
Now I notice it runs a bit ragged at low RPM-gonna check the plugs and see what I find.
