"I have Evinrude 40hp 1984 with OMC control box, I have purchased proper Tachometer, it has wiring harness and plugs into control box, does charging system on this engine need to be in order for this tacho to work? or will it work whatever? is it just case of plugging in and try it? many thanks for help JBD"
