"The boat was idling for several minutes, then quit out on me and doesn't want to restart. When I pour gas into the carb, it starts right up. I replaced the fuel pump and $75 later, I have the same problem."

"Try disconnecting the fuel line at the motor. While pushing the ball in at the end of the fitting, pump the primer bulb. You should get a good stream of fuel. If you don't its either the hose, bulb or tank.w"

"Thanks, I forgot to mention that I tried two fuel lines, two tanks. When I replaced fuel pump, I could see fuel was getting to fuel pump."

"Take off the fuel connector and by pass the pump by putting it straight on to the carb. Use the primer bulb as pump. If it starts and runs, fuel pump problem. If not, probably stuck float valve or clogged jets. Time for a carb cleaning and some new gaskets. (rebuild kit)"
