Evinrude 30HP throttle problems

"I own a Evinrude 30HP 2-strok

"I own a Evinrude 30HP 2-stroke from 1993.
Its starts every time. And its runs very well at the beginning. But when the engine has been running at low rpm, for a short while (trolling fishing). It will not take full throttle again. It sounds and looks very strange, like the engine is not running on both cylinders. It is difficult to discribe. I have observed, after some time at low rpm the water stops running out of the tell tale. Could the problem have anything to do with cooling and overheating ?? Or where should i look for the failure.."

13 years old impeller? I would start with that. Perhaps even the thermostat needs a change.

"Yes, I don´t think the impeller has ever been change. I will order a impelle and a thermostat, and try to change them. I bought a Seloc manual, seems quit easy to change those.. thanks.
If anynone has another idea, please write..."
 
Do not forget the gasket for t

Do not forget the gasket for the thermostat cover and be sure to get the lower shift rod adjusted correctly or You will get a gear adjust problem.
 
I may not be posting this properly..

We have the 30eTech and are having issues with the throttle. Sometimes we get regular idle, forward and reverse and then randomly the throttle will not engage either way.
Once the idle in neutral went to extreme velocity (without raising the idle lever) and with putting it into gear gently and quickly and back to neutral it went back to normal.
The idle sometimes stays in what may be idle safety but then we wait a bit and can operate as per normal. Obviously we are apprehensive and can’t rely on it at this time. Any suggestions!

We have cleaned and lubricated the gear linkage…& thinking it’s a sensor issue but it’s not really locked in idle either…

Mod: E30DPSLAFC.
Hopefully someone has seen this before but we think we may need to plug into a computer..

We have also just ascertained that it only seems to fail when it’s warmed up….
