Have a 1980 25HP Evinrude which wont start. It has a spark and it would seem that petrol is getting through so am assuming the carb is gummed up and needs cleaning. The problem I have is the starter motor is just in the way off getting the carb off. Is there an easy way of removing the carb or do I really need to dismantle the starter assembly which seems a massive job !
