Evinrude 20 hp Remote bracket clamp.

Hi there, I have recently bought a second hand 20 HP, electric start Evinrude. The ID plate is unreadable due to corossion (salt water), so I dont know the year. On the outside of the motor casing there is a cast bracket that holds/connects the remote cables to the throttle and gears. This is broken and currently usable with tie backs. I have looked on various diagrammes but I cant see a similar set up, any help with identifying the part and where to get one would be very gratefully received. Look this up for -----accessories---- for say an 88 model.--Look for control adapter kits.-Then see if there is a part there that you need.

Is #37 what you are looking for?? You will have to come up with some sort of ID to get the right one. A picture of the motor would work.
