Hope someone can help me on this, not really sure what could have caused it. Motor was running fine, taking it easy to warm up, we get out maybe 800ft, and suddenly the motor cuts out. Look back to see smoke pouring out of the cowling. Turns out the rectifier is all burnt up. Motor is now dead, and the only other thing that I could determine was an internal fuse blew. If anyone can give any insight on what may have caused it, and what else might be wrong?
