Most repair shops would have those parts in stock.---------Easier to get parts for that motor than many newer motors !

Just click on the "Boat Engine Parts" link above! I have the 1966 model 6603. I was able to find most of the parts I needed right here. Some parts are obsolete so I could not buy new ones. The diagrams have been very helpful too. I used my engine for 4 days straight last weekend at Lake Powell and it did a wonderful job once I got the idle mixture adjusted properly for the altitude of the lake. I paid $75 for mine in very humble shape here in Phoenix but I see them for sale for $250 and up in what is claimed to be running condition here all the time.

Mine was a long shaft when I purchased it and I converted it to a short shaft. A new drive shaft is required along with water pick up tube and shift shaft. It is necessary to remove the power head which is held on with 7 bolts to replace the shift shaft. It takes a few gaskets but in all is not too difficult to accomplish. I replace a few gaskets and bushings along with the bottom engine seal that had been assembled incorrectly.
