So when I start my Evinrude 1957 5.5 the water comes out the exhaust port just fine for around 15-20 seconds and then all of the sudden stops coming out. The pump and base gasket has been replaced and the pump works just fine( tested with a drill attached to the drive shaft in a bucket for multiple minutes).
Any ideas?
