" My 1995 'rude 175 suddenly developed a reverse problem. When I move the shift into reverse, in the water, the clutch "clacks" but doesn't engage. The shift shaft isn't moving all the way down. I can press the bellcrank arm under the carbs and make the reverse engage fully out of the water (no load). The shift switch also fails the electrical test found in the Clymer manual. Should I adjust the shift cable? What is the secret method to adjust the cable "
