Evinrude 15hp to Electric start

"Could anyone tell me if I can swap electrics from an 1983 Johnson 15hp w/electric start to my 1987 evinrude 15hp, manual start? The donar Johnson ,I believe also has charging because of the rectifier I see.But thats only a guess. The fuel pumps may need swaping also, I have the larger style on the newer evinrude and smaller older style on the johnson on the opposite side from the starter? Will the flywheel match also? Any other differences I should be awair of? Thanks again for your time."

Compare parts at----shop.evinrude.com---- The starter mounts on the exhaust cover. So this means you have to pull both powerheads to change that piece over.The rest is easy.
