A few years ago I completely rebuilt a 1992 15hp Evinrude (blown piston). I did the whole engine - carb, too. All is good, with one last glitch - I run across the lake, slow down to dock, and the engine quits. Pull the choke a bit before it stalls, and it'll keep running; once at slow idle, it'll put-put all day. I've never figured out what it is. It's still winter and it's in my basement - is there a bench test/merasurement I can run to figure this out?
Thanks for any input.
