Just finished installing a reman 440 RH. Replaced everything. I added electronic ignition and a edel carb. Problem is at 3500RPM it stumbles and pushes gas into the carb. I had a yard look at it and they said it was a weak valve spring. Other opinions include a leak in the intake manifold. Fuel pressure is ok. Compression test and leak-down are fine. Thoughts?

On your problem, I'd look at fuel pressure first, then ignition wires cross firing. No way should it be a weak valve spring--that's a WAG (wild *ss guess).
