Etec 75hp runs heavy and vibrates

I just upgraded my boat from a '86 Evinrude 70hp to a '06 Etec 75hp. I changed everything that I thought should be refreshed (plugs, gear oil, fuel filter, impeller, thermostat). I checked the compression and it is perfect (132, 132, 133). The shop confirmed that it is set to XD100 oil. The engine has 156 hours and the EMM was replaced at 154 hours. The diagnostics report shows that there was a fault at 155 hours for "Oil pressure feedback not detected". Then winterization was activated. It starts like a charm all the time. It runs ok, but I would describe it as running "heavy" with a lot of vibration. It sounds kind of like a heavy truck. Any ideas what I could do to tune it?

Put your '86 Evinrude 70hp back on it. Far better motor than that POS you now have on it.

Definitely not going back, after years of pouring new parts into it. That old motor never ran or started well and it polluted like a oil can.

Check fuel injector power connections

Thanks. The power connectors look good. I also got some suggestions that the fuel injectors might have carbon buildup, so I liberally applied Seafoam to the cylinders and air intake and gas tank. It seems to be running better now.
