"the engine starts fine will idle fine but sounds a little diffrent when cold i run her and it seems as if the engine is running on 3 cyls for about 5-10mins then all of a sudden the motor kicks in and she runs like a scolded arse dog then the rest of the day the motor runs great the problem only happens when it has sat over night. the boat has trouble getting on plane but it eventually does. till the problem goes away could it be a switch box going bad?? on sun i ran the boat for about 20 mins till it finallt cleared up then with no warning i had steam comming out the exhaust but the water pressure was 16psi so am changing the water pump,t stats and the poppet valve but i want to fix the running problem to while in there any help would be helpful"
