Engne quits running

I own a 1989 Marinette sedan with two Crusader engines. After running about 20 minutes one of the engines quits running. After waiting a few minutes the engine will re-start running. Do I have an electrical problem (coil?). Your comments are appreciated.

could be electrical (ignition) or fuel (lack of)....best way (fastest) is to check for spark next time it happens (clip on timing light helps here).
