hello again everyone.. got a quick question. I have a Volvo Penta 225E with a AQ275 outdrive. I was given a 270 outdrive today. Is that outdrive compatible with my 225E? and what engine comes standard with that 270 outdrive? Thanks for your assistance.

"The 270 will fit, but make sure the gear ratio is 1.61:1 if you are running it on a V8. Also, you can check the following link to find out which engines came packaged with the 270 outdrive (not all of them are there, though).
