Enginebs recommended rpm 1985 dt 150 hp

How can I find out my engine's recommended rpm range? I am trying to figure out how to choose the right prop for my 1985 DT 150 Suzuki and do not have a manual.

"It's probably going to be either 19p or 21p, depending on the weight of the boat. Max RPM is 5K or 5500 if I remember right. My 19 foot Key West was pitched at 21 when I got it and it hit about 4900 at WOT. I repropped it at 19 and it hits about 5300 at WOT but I don't run it there."

"Thanks Jeff for the reply. I took it to my local marina where it will be used, over 4100 ft elevation.
He said because of the elevation I would need a 17 pitch. So I bought a new 17 pitch prop.He also said if it didn't work out I could bring it back as long as I didn't ding it.
