"David, that is a 1990 Mercury built model, so identical to the 115 Merc, just different paint/decals.

I liked the motor but it did have a few issues - ignition troubles come to mind. It was however an immensely popular Merc model and there are thousands out there.

Running well in decent cosmetic condition it would normally sell in the 1500 dollar range in a private sale - a dealer would easily want double that. That may sound a little low in price, but carb'd motors are really starting to lose their value as far as dealers are concerned.

A service manual is available at any Merc dealer for about 80 bucks. A good compromise manual is a Selocs covering that vintage/horsepower (about 35 bucks)"
