Engine wont rev

2015 Yamaha 90hp
engine idles perfect
goes in gear no problem
push throttle all the way and nothing, RPM's stay at idle
prop slowly turns
Any idea what else to look at?

I would be looking at the throttle cable at the motor. See if the throttle valve is opening.
