Engine will not restart when hot.

I have a 1999 5.0 L EFI Mercruiser with a Brovo 1 out drive. The engine starts first time every time when cold, runs great for hours, low speed and high speed. My problem is when I pull it out of the water and trailer it back to my house (about 15 minutes from the ramp) and hook up my hose to flush it out it will start but only runs for about 45 seconds and then stall out. It will restart and run for about 3 seconds and stall out again. When you look at the fuel injections on top of the throttle body when you try to restart it the fuel starts out as nice fine spray that but then starts to become course and then drips and the engine stalls out. If I let it sit for an hour it will start right up and runs fine.
