"Well the engine is getting better. Last time I was here my 1992 Evinrude 125 looper (125) was reading 115,115,115,136. After using Engine Turner Injection Can twice the compression now reads 84,84,85,95.The compression tester is not the same as I used before. (Different neighbors tester). My question is this, is the compression of 84,84,85,95 to low? The engine seems to run well.... Thank you.... Fred"

"Update: After using Engine Turner Injection cleaner 4 times ( twice yesterday and twice today)my 1992 commercial 125 hp looper.I checked the compression again and it now reads 85,85,85,and 85. The engine also started better.Since I brought a new 2007 Evinrude E Tec 150 hp I plan to now sell this 1992 engine however I do not want to stick a buyer with a engine that will blow up soon after they buy it from me. So the question is this. Is 85 psi on all cylinders to low or normal? Thank you.

Thank you for the info. The tester was bad the second time. It now reads 115 psi on all 4cylinders. That engine is running so nice I kick myself in the rear for spending the money for a new Evinrude E Tec 150. . Oh well.

"new is always better...sometimes we get bit.......but,...new has a warranty,and newer,better technology....."
