I've been getting high temp on my gauge when on plane with a Mercury 150 outboard. Good water pressure, and am leaning to the gauge. When I Took it off the gauge reads 140, and when tested it will peg to 100, but then slowly creeps back to 140 again. Is this normal for it to get a reading with no sender or power going to it?
