"I have recently got a 73 glas

"I have recently got a 73 glastron inboard ski boat.I started remodeling the boat due to a new baby girl,I cant afford a newer one.I can do alot with cars,lost with a boat.My outdrive is a penta thats all i could find.The motor is a aq130 with dual carbs and it is shot.The sleeves are cracked,waterpump gone,head needs reworking.What differant motors will bolt up to the same bellhousing with a 70s penta drive?"

"Michael, you cannot just install a car engine without marinizing it. For that, you usually need a marine cam, a marine intake manifold and carb (s), marine exhaust manifold, marine fuel pump, marine starter and alternator, etc. In your case, the cheapest option would be obtaining a B20 engine from a Volvo autowrecker and transplanting all the marine parts from your current engine.
