Engine starting problems

Hi. I have a 2005 Crownline with the 350 magnum engine. The boat runs good but it stalls sometimes and at times, I can only start it at full throttle. Once I'm underway, the boat runs well. I heard that some people were getting some gas on the lake I use that contained higher amounts of water than usual. I added some Heet brand fuel/water separator/cleaner but that didn't seem to help much. Does anyone know why the boart starts fine sometimes, and other times only starts at full throttle? Thank you in advance.

2005 Crownline with 350 Magnum i/o, 500 hours, alpha 2 outdrive. Impellor was replaced last year, oil changed one month ago. Boat has been running great until just recently. When I cold start it, it doesn't want to start unless I place the accelerator at full throttle. I'll ride for a few hours, then go to start it and sometimes it starts fine, but other times, it requires the full throttle start again. It has also stalled when I go from in gear to neutral, then quickly to reverse, which it hasn't done in the past.

Again start over, Not enough information about your engine...

SPECIFICS!!!

If you don’t mind, give me some questions and I’ll happily answer with what I know. I’m not sure what else you need.

What is your fuel delivery system? Carb or EFI or TBI?

Basic information but without it your questions mean nothing

It’s MPFI. I thought by giving the engine type, it was enough. But I’m new to this forum so I obviously need the guidance.
