"I have a 20hp johnson seahorse, and when I try to push it,it stalls on me,,,I just bought the boat and have no manual or specs on it...any advice would be appreciated...thanks"

Always a good idea to clean/re

Always a good idea to clean/reset/replace plugs first.
Could be a dirty carb. Some old ones have a strangler flap type choke if its one of those will it run on the choke. Later ones have a primer pump. Will operating that keep it going.
If so then a dirty carb is the likely cause.

It might be a fuel flow issue or fuel pump problem. If pumping the fuel line bulb keeps it going that's where to look.

Always helpful to quote the year and/or model number. The number should be on a plate on the transom bracket
