Engine Stall

Have a Bayliner 320 SB with two MerCruiser 5.0 MPI engines, the one I have problems with it started to stall when I am after sailing to add and put it in reverse. Checked all the spark plugs, one of them was to sooty. when it stops the smell of petrol from the exhaust. When I eagerly gas and quickly puts the idle stop motoren.den second engine is nothing wrong with slow down in speed when I do the same thing.
Changed two fuel injectors after the mechanic had looked at it, but it has not helped my problem.

Find a scan tool and hook it up to the problem engine. See if any trouble codes are present. If not, check the real time display value for each of the engine sensors...could be one is showing a legitimate value but is out of tolerance.
