"Good Morning -

I have a 2000 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer with twin 7.4L Horizons. Took her for her first journey of the season for a 40 mile round trip to Jones Beach air show and upon returning to port, experienced engine stall (port) at idle speed. Restarted fine and then stalled again upon docking. Concerned as to what this may come from. Purchased her in Maine July '08, brought her home to Long Island via Atlantic Ocean and she performed effortlessly with no complications. Engines have 250 hrs (purchased w/175 hrs) No history as to when her last tune up was. Changed oil and water/fuel separator filter upon winterization.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do the basic tuneup and let us know what color and condition of the spark plugs. Make sure the choke is opening completely; clean the flame arrestor. Inspect the dist. cap and rotor; replace if needed. Inspect plug wires for cross firing carbon tracks; replace w/quality marine set if needed. Dump the fuel out of the filter and fill w/SEA FOAM; it will clean your fuel delivery system.
