Engine Sputtering when Accelerating

Hello, in the video once I press the throttle down to accelerate, the engine sputters (there is also some white smoke visible for a short time) and in this case almost died. When going slow or idling, it seems ok. I’ve recently replaced the carb which is brand new on there. Any ideas what may cause this? Fuel filter is also new.

Start with some basics - do you have good compression, is there a strong spark and is timing set properly.

Have you measured fuel pressure. when you throttle up and look down the carb throat does the accelerator pump shoot 2 good streams of fuel in?

Is the choke opening fully? When you say a new carb is it new or remanufactured? f new is it a cheap Chinese made carb ? These are hit or miss...
