"Have twin 220's - 1978 mo
"Have twin 220's - 1978 model. Both carbs just rebuilt. Both start fine. Starboard stops running after 20-30 mins. Port continues to run. Pulling fuel off dual tanks. Checked vents - they are fine. I checked the fuel filter canister and it is only 1/4 full. I have also checked the check valves on tanks and they seem to be clear. If engine sets for 20-20 mins, it restarts and runs for another 20-30 min cycle.
Another issue is that when shifting this v-drive into gear at 1000-2500 rpms, the engine suddenly dies. Borg Warner drive.
Last problem - hearing a popping noise at engine when doing slight rev from idle - sounds like it coming fromthe exhaust are.
Any help would be awesome!!! This boat has been a summer project that is just about finished, except for these few problems. Thanks."
