Hi everybody, first time poster here.
Got towed off the lake today.
I have a 95 Glastron SV-195 with a carb'd 4.3 V6 Chevy. It ran great all day with no issues. We slowed to look at the shoreline and I took the boat out of gear to stop for a bit. When I put the boat back into gear, it shutdown. Restarted OK, idled fine and rev'd OK out of gear. Everytime I started to move the shift, it would die. Not stall like it's running badly.... Just shutdown like I turned off the key. Tried it a bunch of times before calling for the cavalry. The nice sheriffs towed us in and a $100 cab ride back to the truck at the other end of the lake was icing on the cake. Tried it again dockside with the same results.
So... any ideas?
