engine removal

cant get the motor off the lower unit 1975 35 hp Johnson. took out the 6 bolts and tried to lift out nothing any ideas.
 
Not sure how many screws there are, but did you get the one that is almost out of sight, between the steering bracket and exhaust housing? It may be a #3 Phillips head or it may be a small hex head. Yes, you CAN get at it with the proper tool.

Sorry, I mis-read the question. There is no such thing as a 1975 35hp. My answer applied to the 25hp. So, what do you have anyway? Model number??
