I noticed my engine was idling rough and the last time I took it out the tach was working intermittently. The boat would get on plane but would lose power and drop off plane. So at first thought it was fuel related so I swapped fuel lines and fuel bulb. Still having the same problem I checked the spark and pulled one plug at a time and noticed the engine would run on cylinder 3 only. To test it I left cylinders 1&2 plugged in and the engine would not start but with plug 3 on the engine ran. Everything I'm finding points to the switch box.
Can anyone point me to a place to test the switch box to see if I can use my volt meter just to make sure it's that box and not the trigger. Also if anyone knows how to test the trigger would be helpful too.
