I have a 2011 70 hp Yamaha. In the fall I had it serviced with a new impeller. As I was preparing it for launch in my driveway, initially it was spitting normally. ) Subsequently, I replaced the battery, and tightened the small gas filter in the engine. Neither should have anything to do with the engine spitting. But now the stream is weak. I made sure the hoses I have access to are clear. Is there anything I can do to diagnose the problem without dropping the lower unit?
