"I'm getting engine noise
"I'm getting engine noise from my OMC Cobra 5.0 soon after start up. The noise does not occur right at start up, but comes when I put the boat in gear. It sounds like the noise you hear from cars w/ power steering when they're turning (i.e., it's a whining sound, not a clanking or thumping). The noise lasts for about 10 sec. when the boat is first put into gear, then goes away. Except sometimes it will also crop up when I'm lowering the trim. Doesn't seem to happen when I raise the trim. Any thoughts?"
